I’ve been using Netbeans 6.8 since yesterday and I must say I’m pretty happy with it! It’s pretty stable.
Symfony support is quite simple as of now but i’m sure it will be better in the next release.
Here is some screenshots of the symfony support in netbeans!

Run a symfony command from Netbeans 6.8

The only downside is that you can’t run custom commands… But i’m sure it will come in a near future :-)
If you want to give it a try, click here to download Netbeans 6.8 Milestone 1.

Update: I forgot to say that I have some problems committing to svn with this version of netbeans. Be advised ;)

What were the problems you had committing with svn, and how did you get around them?

The commit operation won’t stop. I had to close netbeans. It’s maybe related to the fact that I have a very long post-commit operation (phpDoc generation).
The only solution is to commit by hand, or… use netbeans 6.7 ;-)
